FPGA-Based High-Performance Double-Loop PDF Control Strategy for PMSM

Due to the large overshoot and poor disturbance rejection impact control accuracy of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in proportional-integral-derivative (PID) mode. In this paper, we propose an optimal double-loop pseudo-derivative feedback (PDF) strategy. Firstly, obtain high-precision current minimize influence sampling delay, a double-feedback PDF structure is configured based on Σ- Δ modulation Sinc3 filter. Secondly, adopt instant-sampling instant-update (ISIU) strategy field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which can reduce update delay pulse-width (PWM), design hardware timing diagram, accordingly. Then, closed-loop pole position dynamic performance system saturation characteristics power device, parameters tuning method loop speed proposed. Finally, under different strategies compared analyzed through simulations experiments. The results show that proposed paper considerably expand bandwidth has better rejection.

The synthesis speed as determined by the Xilinx synthesis tools projects the applications speed of 5 MHz.
